This past weekend I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of attending Salon Melbourne 2012 – which I did get to go to last year. Lucky as its a trade show, and as you know i’m not in the beauty trend, just an enthusiast!

Its been a long time since I saw this show religiously, but now it’s a teenage crush obsession. American Idol. I have a few favourites, but one major crush. Okay, not just a crush! That’s just the first wave of ‘emotion’ that happens. Hormones, I mean. Sorry, I digress! Colton! I truly believe he’ll win. This season has been so strong though, believe it or not I do have other favourites that I do look for each week (Jessica and Joshua, I’m looking at you, with Elise being the dark horse). I am already avoiding phone calls, and turning the TV up with each Colton performance. Three weeks in. Oh, and he’s definitely not to be mistaken with this season’s Survivor villain..

When it comes to memory, I’m patchy at best. I have a strange ability to remember quotes, and to remember songs from particular scenes in film and TV; yet when it comes to remembering teachers’ names or important details like my Medicare number, blankess. Fogginess comes over me.

When I first heard that 21 Jump St was to turn into a film; I did not expect the double act of Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill. At all. Not even close. I mean; I thought they’d try to get a replicate of young, handsome Johnny Depp. But then again; that’d be a mistake. You cannot substitute Depp.

It starts with the letter T and ends in Swizzle! I mean.. Taylor Swift!

Not only that, but her support band is Hot Chelle Rae, and I haven’t been as excited about a support band in a long time (at least not since Eric Hutchinson at the Jason Mraz show I went to!)
