I haven’t flown through a set of books in a while, at least not since the Harry Potter series, or even the Stephanie Plum series, but the Hunger Games film is going to surprise a lot of people, I know it. The trilogy of books by Suzanne Collins is dark, action-packed with only a bit of teen angst, and in such a way that its not melodramatic at all. At all. Don’t even let Twilight enter your mind when thinking Hunger Games.
I think it will be a strong adaptation, I just know it! I won’t give too much away, but if this trailer doesn’t make you want to reach for the books, I don’t know what will.
