Who's her next suitor?

Man, I just love Victory. I love winning too, but I mean Victory Ford from Lipstick Jungle. As much as last season was all about Nico and Kirby (and I still love Nico) I love the way Victory’s character is developing, and although she’s the fashion designer of the group – she seems to be showing more depth, strength, and I don’t know.. life of all the women. In the last few episodes, she’s been smitten by Rodrigo, her contractor that she met on the street.. and who wouldn’t? Sexy accent, dark hair, light eyes.. and he’s romantic. It drove Joe Bennett to jealousy, and games, and Victory telling him directly she was over him. But it still didn’t work out with Rodrigo, the papi with a daughter that just wasn’t into her dad dating.. Agh. I should have known. Andrew McCarthy is still in the credits (and why isn’t Robert Buckley?!) and so Victory is surely to end up with the man never to be called JUST by his first name..

Nico’s family comes into the picture, a brother we’ve never heard about, but he’s the criminal of the family, andd her Dad comes to find her to help him, though she hasn’t spoken to him in 6 years. It was a heavy subplot to show her father losing everything taking care of him, and the fact that her brother even stole from her – yet I have a feeling we won’t see any more of this storyline in future episodes. Could she really turn her back now? The Kirby storyline needs to.. kick into gear again. She wants a plan, she wants to know just what they have – but I’m not sure he knows? Could he be growing bored now..? I’m worried.. especially since he’s still a guest star!

Wendy also got fired.. very quickly, a leave the building type fired – because she hired an actor who was dying, forging insurance forms in order for him to get the job. For a control freak to go from lifestyle/job – to no job, planning health checkups, or eye checks.. it hits her hard. What next? The mothers at her son’s school see her as the one with ‘connections’, and she can’t bear to be seen knowing that she has no job.. at least her daughter understands what she did, and why she did it now. Although Shane has a ‘supporting’ role as Wendy’s husband… we don’t often see him, why does he have a title in the credits? ha, as you can see, I’m just a bit curious..

Still loving this show, but it just needs a good new plot for the season – ratings are falling week by week.. I don’t see a long future, as much as it pains me to say!
